Kookaburra Matrix Series sticks combine the latest concepts in design and composition to offer you a choice of formulas suitable for players of all ages and abilities.
DESIGN ELEMENTS
L-BOW: The unique "Low Bow" design places the optimum point of the bow low on the shaft, in the ideal position to enhance the "slingshot" action required by the game's top "drag flick" specialists. However, players are still able to "strike" and "sweep hit" with ease. The "L-Bow" is fully compliant with FIH regulations, with a maxi head shape to enhance control.
M-BOW: A more conventional location of the bow, the "Mid-Bow" places the optimum point in the mid-section of the shaft, enhancing ball control, "sweep hitting" and "drag-flicking" techniques, but also assisting in the full blooded "strike". A great design for all-around play.
MATRIX COMPOSITION
TWIN TUBE CORE: All of our power matrix sticks are constructed around a twin tube core, which keeps the stick lightweight but strong
THE MATRIX FORMULAS: Our sticks are constructed of carbon, kevlar, and fibreglass, in a range of concentrations, depending on the player's needs.
Matrix composition:
- Carbon--for maximum rigidity, response, strength and power.
- Kevlar--for maximum shock absorbencey, strenght and control.
- Fibreglass--for basic strength, durability and feel.
